This project is in response to the Covid-19 outbreak to continue to meet the needs of Warrington's hungry in the new circumstances. This project will help to ensure that adequate supplies of food are available to meet the increased need and fund extra costs associated with collection, making up and distribution of food parcels. In addition to the normal identification of need via food vouchers, the Foodbank is now assisting vulnerable people who can not get out and homeless people who are living in hostel accommodation.

The relief of financial hardship amongst people in Warrington and the surrounding area or in other parts of the United Kingdom in such ways as the trustees from time-to-time think fit, in particular, but not exclusively by:• providing emergency food, essential toiletries, and household items to individuals and families in need and/or for distribution by charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty• such other means, including (but not limited to) the provision of support or signposting to relevant information and other advisory services
