3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE THE ADVANCEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD OF THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE ASSOCIATION OF ROMAN CATHOLIC WOMEN KNOWN AS THE CONGREGATION OF THE SISTERS OF NOTRE DAME, AS THE TRUSTEES WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE PROVINCIAL SUPERIOR SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT, IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMITATION BY THE:3.1.1 PROVISION OF CHURCHES AND PUBLIC CHAPELS IN CONNECTION WITH ANY INSTITUTIONS FOR THE TIME BEING UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE CONGREGATION;3.1.2 MAINTENANCE AND CARRYING ON IN SUCH CHURCHES OR PUBLIC CHAPELS OF THE RELIGIOUS SERVICES OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH;3.1.3 PROVISION OF NON-RESIDENTIAL CARE AND SUPPORT FOR PRIESTS SERVING SUCH CHURCHES OR PUBLIC CHAPELS AS AFORESAID;3.1.4 RELIEF OF POOR PERSONS;3.1.5 PROVISION OF PASTORAL CARE THROUGH STUDY GROUPS, HOSPITAL VISITING, BEREAVEMENT COUNSELLING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES; AND3.1.6 PROVISION OF CONVENTS AND HOUSES OF RESIDENCE FOR MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATION ENGAGED IN THE CARRYING ON OF THE CHARITABLE WORKS OF THE CHARITY AND FOR AGED AND INFIRM MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATION.
