Objectives

TO THE VICAR AND CHURCHWARDEN FOR THE TIME BEING OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISHES COMPRISING OF EXE VALLEY GROUP OF CHURCHES IN THGE DIOCESE OF EXETER AND THE TOWN OF TIVERTON FOR THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES SO LONG AS THEY SHALL MAINTAIN OTHERWISE THAN OUT OF THE INCOME OF THE TRUST FUND OF THE WORTH CHAPEL IN THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST. MARY THE VIRGIN AND WASHFIELD AND THE MONUMENTS, MEMORIALS AND ARTEFACTS CURRENTLY THERIN IN GOOD REPAIR AND CONDITION PROVIDED HOWEVER THAT IF AND SO LONG AS THE FIRST CHARITY SHALL MAKE DEFAULT IN MAINTENANCE AFORESAID THEN ONLY FOR THE CHARITIES AND FOR THE PURPOSES SPECIFIED IN THE SECOND SCHEDULE.
