THE OBJECT OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO RELIEVE NEED AND TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AMONG THE SOMALI COMMUNITY IN LIVERPOOL, TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC RELIGION, AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR THOSE MEMBERS OF THE SAID COMMUNITY WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF SUCH MEMBERS OF THE SAID COMMUNITY.
