TO PROMOTE THE ACTIVITIES OF MEDICAL IMAGING WITHIN THE CATCHMENT AREA SERVED BY THE PRINCESS OF WALES HOSPITAL, BRIDGEND AND IN PARTICULAR WITHOUT IN ANY WAY LIMITING THE GENERALITY THEREOF TO FINANCE OR CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROVISION AND FOR MAINTENANCE AND/OR OPERATION OF A COMPUTERISED AXIAL TOMOGRAPHY (BODY) SCANNER OR SUCH OTHER CONTEMPORARY DIAGNOSTICE EQUIPMENT AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL AT THEIR SOLE DISCRETION DECIDE AND WITHIN SUCH CATCHMENT AREA.
