THE JAMES ETHERINGTON AWARD 

An award of £400 and one of £200 may be given on an annual basis to the winner and runner-up of an annual competition for young musicians - instrumentalists or singers. Furthermore, consolation prizes are awarded to the other finalists in the competition - usually of £50 each.
