CHARITY OF WILLIAM WESTLEY

The Trustees shall apply the income in promoting the education of young persons resident in Whittlesford either by providing such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority for the William Westley School as may from time to time be agreed between the Trustees and the Governors of the School or in such other ways as the Trustees think fit.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • Over half the Board have joined recently

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Income has been volatile recently but spending has been maintained
