THE BRITISH GEOTECHNICAL ASSOCIATION 

The BGA arranges regular discussion meetings, regional lectures, periodical conferences, symposia & seminars, all based around the subjects of soil & rock mechanics & engineering geology and their application to engineering. The BGA also promotes training courses & seminars in the subject of geotechnology including regular competitions & symposia specifically for young geotechnical professionals.
