THE ROLAND PHILIPPS FUND FOR SCOUTS

We give young people skills for life. We actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. We are open to all young people aged 4 -24 in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Tower Hamlets.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • Spending has increased over the last 3 years relative to the previous period
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
