THE GENETICS SOCIETY 

The object of the Society is to promote the advancement of the science of genetics for the benefit of the public. The Society does this by promoting the interchange of scientific information about genetics through running and sponsoring scientific meetings, through publishing scientific journals and through awarding small grants for travel and research, especially to junior scientists.
