To relieve Bath residents who are in need by making grants of between 50 and 350 GBP to those who have already exhausted all other sources of financial support. Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • There are 13 trustees whereas the Charities Commission recommends a maximum of 12

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Spending has fallen significantly over the last 5 years relative to the previous period
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
