Objectives

4.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE RESTRICTED SPECIFICALLY TO THE FOLLOWING FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: 4.1.1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND, IN FURTHERANCE OF WHICH, EACH YEAR, ONE HALF OF THE NET INCOME OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE PAID TO THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL OF THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ST. CLEMENT, OXFORD FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE FABRIC OF THE CHURCH, LAND AND BUILDINGS AND IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS RELIGIOUS AND CHARITABLE WORK AND ACTIVITIES IN THE PARISH OF ST CLEMENT; 4.1.2 THE RELIEF OF THOSE IN NEED DUE TO FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, AGE OR ILL HEALTH IN THE ECCLESI-ASTICAL PARISH OF ST CLEMENT, OXFORD; 4.1.3 THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE CITY OF OXFORD, WITH A PREFERENCE FOR THOSE WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE ECCLESIASTICAL PARISH OF ST. CLEMENT (THE BENEFICIARIES); AND 4.1.4 THE ADVANCEMENT IN LIFE AND RELIEF OF NEED AMONGST BENEFICIARIES THROUGH THE PRO-VISION OF SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILI-TIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS AND WHICH RELIEVE UNEMPLOYMENT AMONGST THEM.
