TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, INCLUDING THOSE WITH A PHYSICAL, SENSORY, COGNITIVE OR HIDDEN IMPAIRMENT, IN THE LONDON BOROUGH OF NEWHAM AND ENVIRONS WITH A VIEW TO HELPING THEM IDENTIFY AND MEET THEIR OWN NEEDS AND MAINTAIN CHOICE, CONTROL AND INDEPENDENCE IN THEIR LIVES BY: A) PROVIDING ADVICE, ADVOCACY AND INFORMATION TO DISABLED PEOPLE TO HELP THEM ACCESS SERVICES, ENTITLEMENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES, INCLUDING INFORMATION AND ADVICE; B) PROVIDING TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR DISABLED PEOPLE; C) EFFECTIVELY REPRESENTING THE VIEWS, NEEDS AND INTERESTS OF DISABLED PEOPLE.
