1 THE ADVANCEMENT OF RACIAL HARMONY AND EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY AMONGST CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AND EDUCATORS BY:1.1 THE PROMOTION OF ANTI-RACISM AND ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE, GENDER, DISABILITY, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR RELIGION;1.2 WORKING WITH SCHOOLS TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP EDUCATION IN RACIAL HARMONY, EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY AND ANTI-RACISM;1.3 PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS OR RACIAL GROUPS;1.4 CONDUCTING OR COMMISSIONING RESEARCH ON EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY ISSUES AND PUBLISHING THE RESULTS TO THE PUBLIC;1.5 CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF RACIAL HARMONY, ANTI-RACISM AND EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY.2 TO ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE IN PARTICULAR THOSE WHO ARE OR MAY BE EXPOSED TO RACISM BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.
