DIVERSE VOICES EDUTAINMENT

Mission:

Our mission is to provide arts-based education to further young people\'s life skills and confidence, addressing relevant topical issues prioritised within schools
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received backing from several prominent grant makers recently

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity raises funds from the public but is not recognised by HMRC for Gift Aid according to its latest published return
  • There are only 3 trustees
  • The Board is completely female

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
Comment by the Charity:
We are in the process of getting recognised by HMRC for Gift Aid, so should be soon hopefully - watch this space! With regards to our trustees, we are newly registered as a CIO and we plan to expand the board, but initially prioritised individuals that brought the necessary skills onboard and balanced the dynamic with male Co-Founders.
