    (1) SUBJECT TO PAYMENT OF THE EXPENSES AFORESAID THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY AS FOLLOWS:(A)IN PROMOTING THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF YOUNG PERSONS WHO ARE ATTENDING AS PUPILS OF SOHAM VILLAGE COLLEGE AND WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING IN AWARDING TO SUCH YOUNG PERSONS SCHOLARSHIPS OR MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCES TENABLE AT ANY SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY, COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, OR OTHER INSTITUTION OF FURTHER (INCLUDING PROFESSIONAL AND TECHNICAL) EDUCATION APPROVED FOR THE PURPOSE BY THE TRUSTEES(B) IN OR TOWARDS PROVIDING SUCH SPECIAL BENEFITS OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDE BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY FOR THE ABOVE-MENTIONED COLLEGE AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE AGREED BETWEEN THE TRUSTEES AND THE GOVERNORS OF THE COLLEGE;(2) SUBJECT THERETO THE TRUSTEES SHALL APPLY THE SAID INCOME AS FOLLOWS:(C) IN PROMOTING THE EDUCATION (INCLUDING SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL TRAINING) OF YOUNG PERSONS RESIDENT IN SOHAM WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN SUCH WAYS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT;(D) IN OR TOWARDS PROVIDING SUCH SPECIAL BENEFITS OF ANY KIND NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY FOR ANY SCHOOL IN SOHAM AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE AGREED BETWEEN THE TRUSTEES AND THE GOVERNORS OF THE SCHOOL CONCERNED.
