TO ADVANCE THE ARTS AND CULTURE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN GREATER MANCHESTER AND CHESHIRE BY:(A) PROMOTING AND PERFORMING PUBLIC CONCERTS OF CHAMBER MUSIC; (B) COMMISSIONING AND PERFORMING NEW MUSIC BY COMPOSERS OF CHAMBER MUSIC;(C) PERFORMING NON-STANDARD AND LESS FAMILIAR MUSIC BY COMPOSERS OF CHAMBER MUSIC; AND(D) DEVELOPING AND SUSTAINING A NEW AND DIVERSE AUDIENCE FOR CHAMBER MUSIC AMONG THE PUBLIC IN GREATER MANCHESTER AND CHESHIRE. 2. TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF CURRENT STUDENTS AND RECENT ALUMNI OF THE ROYAL NORTHERN COLLEGE OF MUSIC AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER MUSICAL EDUCATION BY:(A) INVITING THEM TO REHEARSE FOR, AND PERFORM IN, PUBLIC CONCERTS OF CHAMBER MUSIC;(B) ENHANCING THEIR PLAYING AND PERFORMANCE SKILLS IN CHAMBER MUSIC ENSEMBLES, PARTICULARLY BY PLACING THEM SIDE-BY-SIDE WITH FULLY PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS;(C) USING FULLY PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS AS THEIR MENTORS; AND(D) PROMOTING THEIR EARLY CAREER DEVELOPMENT IN THE CLASSICAL MUSIC PROFESSION.
