Objectives

The Objects of the CIO are:3.2.1 To advance the mental, physical and spiritual welfare of young people in the Territory and in particular3.2.1.1 To assume (with the support off the Authority if it is still involved in the Programme), and, in liaison with the Licence Holder (if that is not the Authority),to support the work of the programme in the County of West Sussex by providing (after conducting its own assessments in each case and when it considers appropriate) to participants, funds for the activities which are mentioned in sub-paragraphs3.2.2.3, 3.2.2.4, 3.2.2.5, and 3.2.2.6( and equipment to be used in that connection) and which take place in the course of the Programme.3.2.1.2. (In the event that the Authority ceases to hold the Licence), in addition (if the opportunity arises and the grant of a Licence is awarded to the CIO, the Authority no longer being the holder of the Licence), to increase its involvement in and delivery of the Programme by affiliation to, or constituting, an Award unit or units, and to obtain and hold the Licence accordingly.
