The funding will support salary costs for a project manager a senior support worker a receptionist and an additional support worker. This will enable the organisation to open the Hastings hub 3 days a week and with the addition of a new support worker be able to offer more recovery groups in the Hub and a weekly Recovery Group initially in Bexhill. ESRA is a drug and alcohol recovery service based in Eastbourne and Hastings. The funding would allow the centre to continue for another 3 years offering a seamless transition service for those recovering from Drug and Alcohol dependency.

East Sussex recovery Alliance supports people in recovery from drugs and alcohol, reducing isolation and increasing engagement in purposeful activity. Funding was provided to enable them to employ a support worker for 20 hours a week to work specifically with people with complex needs who are leaving hospital to help them reconnect with services and support from ESRA to assist them in their recovery.
