    THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION THROUGH THE RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK OF THE SOCIETY AS THE TRUSTEES WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE PROVINCIAL SUPERIOR SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:(1) THE SUPPORT OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOCIETY AND THEIR CHARITABLE WORKS;(2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES AND DOCTRINES OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION; AND(3) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY.
