THE UK COLOUR PENCIL SOCIETY

The UKCPS exists to support and encourage the skills of drawing through the use of coloured pencils as an art form. This is achieved through public exhibitions, workshops & demonstrations. The society offers grant aid support to amateur art clubs, societies, and educational establishments utilising the skills of coloured pencil artists as part of their programme of events or curriculum.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Accounts have been filed late on 2 occasions over the last 5 years and the current period appears to have been extended
  • Income has been volatile recently
