TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN WALES WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, AGE, DISABILITY, ILL HEALTH, POVERTY AND OTHER PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES, IN PARTICULAR MEMBERS OF THE CHINESE COMMUNITY, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY:A) PROMOTING COMMUNITY COHESION, BOTH WITHIN THE ETHNIC CHINESE COMMUNITY AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY;B) DELIVERING TO AND REPRESENTING THE CHINESE COMMUNITY INCLUDING DISABLED PEOPLE, CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AS WELL AS ELDERLY PEOPLE, IN PLANNING AND SERVICE DELIVERY TO ENSURE THEIR WIDER WELL-BEING;C) SUPPORTING MEMBERS OF THE ETHNIC CHINESE COMMUNITY FACING DISADVANTAGE TO ADDRESS THE INEQUALITIES THAT THEY FACE AND PARTICIPATE FULLY IN SOCIETY;D) PROMOTING BOTH CHINESE AND WELSH CULTURES AND HERITAGE;E) HAVING DUE REGARD TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE EQUALITY ACT.
