3.1) THE OBJECTS ARE THE RELIEF OF NECESSITOUS SALESPEOPLE WHO ARE PREVENTED BY AGE OR OTHER REASON FROM EARNING AN ADEQUATE SUBSISTENCE AND THE RELIEF OF THEIR SPOUSES, PARTNERS AND/OR DEPENDENTS.3.2) IN CLAUSE 3.1, SALESPEOPLE MEANS THE REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS OR PRINCIPALS, RESIDENT IN GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND FOR ANY MANUFACTURER, INDUSTRIAL COMPANY OR IMPORTER WHO SELL OR HAVE SOLD GOODS OR SERVICES FOR RESALE OR COMMERCIAL USE TO INDUSTRY OR COMMERCE BUT NOT DIRECT TO THE PUBLIC FOR AT LEAST FIVE YEARS AND SUCH SALES OR NEGOTIATIONS HAVE BEEN DONE AT THE CUSTOMERS' PREMISES OR AT TRADE SHOWS/EXHIBITIONS.
