The project will continue and develop a holistic service for refugees and asylum seekers with physical or mental health issues who experience disadvantage due to disability, language, immigration status or ethnicity. The project helps them develop confidence, knowledge, skills and independence and integrate into the community, working with agencies and local residents. Support includes befriending, advocacy, health information, telephone advice, English skills and practical help to access services.
