IAFRICA FOUNDATION

TRAINING STAFF IN SCHOOLS AND ADULT EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS TO USE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHING, INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF LESSON PLANS AND OTHER RESOURCES. 5. THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTER PROGRAMMES THAT HELP ADULTS LEARN LIFE SKILLS INCLUDING LITERACY, NUMERACY, BUSINESS SKILLS, FARMING AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT. 6. PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF TABLET COMPUTERS AT ADULT LEARNING INSTITUTIONS THAT CANNOT AFFORD DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY. THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY [OR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP] ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, HEALTHCARE AND FARMING PROJECTS AND ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT DESIGNED TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT, IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES THINK FIT, INCLUDING BY: 1. TRAINING FARMERS AND STAFF AT FARMING INSTITUTIONS TO USE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY TO IMPROVE FARMING PRACTICES.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
