ARK CANCER CHARITY

We will provide grants to ensure the designated cancer centre is built to a considerably enhanced specification and to ensure people living with cancer and their families have access to a wide range of support therapies in a therapeutic environment. These services will aim to improve outcome of treatment and support the management of their condition from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • There are only 4 trustees

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Income has been volatile and on several occasions in recent years less than spending
