NORTH DORSET TRAILWAY NETWORK

aim is to provide a safe accessible route for walkers, horse riders, cyclists and the disabled to the benefit of both local inhabitants and tourists (visitors) to Dorset.Specifically to establish a Public Bridleway route along the course of the old Somerset and Dorset Railway line, initially from Stalbridge to Corfe Mullen and eventually to connect with the Castlemain Trailway at Broadstone.

WHERE THE ORIGINAL ROUTE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE, TO ESTABLISH THE BEST POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVE, ENSURING A CONTINUOUS ROUTE. (THIS ROUTE IS NOT TO BE FOR USE BY MOTORISED VEHICLES OTHER THAN ELECTRIC CYCLES, DISABILITY WHEELCHAIRS AND AUTHORISED VEHICLES (E.G.
