HASTINGS AND ROTHER INTERFAITH FORUM

Monthly open meetings which focus on themes that promote dialogue and understanding between faiths. Several larger events each year promote community cohesion in partnership with other groups through opportunities to meet people of a variety of religious and cultural backgrounds, e.g. an outdoor Summer event, a Winter festival of faiths & cultures and a youth based performance and awards event.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Spending has fallen significantly over the last 5 years relative to the previous period but has stabilised more recently
  • Income has been volatile and on several occasions in recent years less than spending
