HAMPSHIRE AND HOIMA HOSPITALS

HHH sends 4 parties of up to 10 volunteers to Hoima Regional referral Hospital every year for clinical teaching, sharing skills and improving operating systems to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes. The charity also provides equipment, medical consumables and drugs and occasionally funds training courses for local staff.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • There has been strong growth in spending over the last 5 years
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
