HEALTHCARE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PARTNERSHIP

HQIP aims to improve health outcomes by enabling those who commission, deliver and receive healthcare to measure and improve healthcare services. HQIP works in partnership with patients and healthcare professionals to influence and improve healthcare practice. We commission, manage and develop the national clinical audit and patient outcomes programme on behalf of NHS England.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of age and gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • Unrestricted reserves appear to be dangerously low at the latest year end
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
