THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY SHALL BE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF MEN AND WOMEN AS DENTAL NURSES AND OTHER DENTAL STAFF TO ASSIST IN DENTISTRY SO AS TO ENABLE A LEVEL OF SKILL AND SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE TO BE ACHIEVED WHICH WILL MEET THE STANDARDS FROM TIME TO TIME APPROVED, SET OR ADOPTED BY THE CHARITY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND THE DENTAL PROFESSION.WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, THIS MAY INCLUDE: 1 SETTING AND PUBLISHING SYLLABUSES OF STUDY FOR DENTAL NURSES AND OTHER DENTAL STAFF TO ENABLE LEVELS OF SKILL AND SAFETY TO BE ACHIEVED; 2 SETTING AND PUBLISHING EXAMINATIONS FOR DENTAL NURSES AND OTHER DENTAL STAFF AND HOLD EXAMINATIONS AS OFTEN AS THE CHARITY SHALL CONSIDER DESIRABLE; 3 ENSURING THAT EXAMINERS AND ASSESSORS ACHIEVE THE REQUIRED LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL TO UNDERTAKE ASSESSMENTS; 4 ISSUING CERTIFICATES TO INDIVIDUALS WHO SUCCESSFULLY ACHIEVE THE REQUIRED LEVELS OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL; 5 ADVISING UPON, ASSISTING WITH AND VALIDATING THE TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT CENTRES WHICH UNDERTAKE QUALIFICATIONS PROVIDED BY THE CHARITY; 6 SUPPORTING, AND DISSEMINATING THE RESULTS OF, RESEARCH (WHETHER CONDUCTED BY THE CHARITY OR NOT) (I) WHICH SHOWS THE BENEFITS OF SETTING STANDARDS AND SKILL LEVELS IN THE INTERESTS OF PATIENTS; (II) INTO THE IMPROVEMENT OF SKILLS, WORK METHODS AND PRACTICES IN THE DENTAL TEAM; 7 THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES, SCHOLARSHIPS, GRANTS, LOANS AND OTHER FUNDS FOR RESEARCH OR FOR TRAINING FACILITIES TO ANY PERSON OR PERSONS, TRUST, INSTITUTE OR BODY CORPORATE WHICH IN THE OPINION OF THE CHARITY IS LIKELY TO ENHANCE OR FURTHER THE OBJECTS.
