THE CATHERINE BULLEN FOUNDATION

The Foundation's current projects are the construction of a multi-purpose Hall at Omuhaturua Primary School Hostel and the provision of a borehole for Eiseb Primary School and Hostel and state clinic. Both these projects are fully funded. We are now seeking funding for the provision of a 4x4 ambulance for the Otjimanangombe Primary Healthcare Clinic. All in the Omaheke region, Namibia
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy
  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Spending has fallen significantly over the last 5 years relative to the previous period but has stabilised more recently
