SUNRISE MULTICULTURAL PROJECT CIO 

Sunrise provides playgroups, youth groups and drop-ins for members of the local ethnic minority communities. We also provide a confidential counselling and support service for those at risk of or experiencing domestic abuse. Through our sessions we provide advice and support on a wide range of issues affecting our users, including health, education, racial discrimination and human rights.

Objectives

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS OF ETHNIC MINORITY FAMILIES IN BANBURY AND ITS SURROUNDING AREA IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL THINK FIT AND IN PARTICULAR BY:1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF NURSERIES, OUT OF SCHOOL CLUBS AND ADULT EDUCATION COURSES;2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF HEALTH BY THE PROVISION OF ADVOCACY, ADVICE AND SUPPORT; AND3) THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
