CLOSER COMMUNITIES

Closer Communities provides information, advice and guidance to families with a child with disabilities or complex medical health needs or SEND. TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL INCLUSION OF THOSE SUPPORTING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMPLEX MEDICAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES LIVING IN NORTH YORKSHIRE AND EAST RIDING, WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY AS A RESULT OF THEIR COMPLEX MEDICAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT TO FAMILIES AND CARERS THROUGH ADVICE, INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE AND THROUGH RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND OTHER SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES. 2. THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES LIVING IN NORTH YORKSHIRE AND EAST RIDING BY ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY IN THIS AREA OF THE COUNTRY.3.
