MANCHESTER CITY OF LITERATURE

Our vision is to create an innovative, distinctive, equitable, globally connected city of reading and writing. We want Manchester to be a city where diverse voices are celebrated, creative talent is nurtured and where literary activity changes lives. We do this by uniting the collective strength and voice of writers and all those involved in literary activities across Manchester.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • The Board has little diversity in terms of age

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
