The funding will be used to allow Halewood Youth Centre to continue to develop community led activities support groups and projects with children and young people and families in the Halewood area of Knowsley. Projects and service offers include; out of school activity club sessions; full-time holiday activity and childcare provision; evening youth sessions; weekend morning Diddikick soccer sessions; daily mindfulness circuit training; community bingo; boxercise and yoga classes; evening boxing and fitness sessions. The premises are also used as an alternative education resource for young adults with additional needs three sessions per week; as well as staging large community based celebratory events such as a Christmas Character Community Parade.
