TALITHA ARTS

Talitha Arts uses creative arts to provide therapeutic support for survivors of trafficking and domestic abuse and people living with dementia, in the UK and overseas. We believe the arts have the potential to restore hope, dignity and worth to those who have experienced trauma.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • The charity has received modest backing from several prominent grant makers recently
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of age and gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy
  • Over half the Board have joined recently

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • On several occasions in recent years income has been less than spending
