PEMBROKE HOUSE FOUNDATION

During 13/14 the Pembroke House Foundation has been fundraising (a) for bursary provision and (b) for the development projects outlined in the 2027 Vision for Pembroke House School in Kenya. This has primarily been focused on a new theatre with seating for 300 which will be used for the school and for children in the surrounding local communities without access to such facilities.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers and there are significant future grants due to be received

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • There have been multiple defaults for filing returns
  • This charity does not have a Conflict of Interests policy
  • The Board is completely male
  • The Board composition appears to be very static

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Latest accounts are overdue for filing
  • This charity appears to be dormant
