The funding will support their publishing platform for member blogs and article; produce member Soap Boxes and NSUN films published on the NSUN YouTube Channel; provide website resources including webinars and access to the latest research and share their members resource pack. The project aims to improve mental health and well-being.

Mental health services across the UK are under significant pressure and many are now in crisis.There remains a need for a national group to empower, equip and enable mental health service users to become actively and meaningfully involved in planning, delivering and managing services in order to help bring about improved provision.The National Survivor User Network (NSUN) brings mental health service users and survivors together to communicate, feel supported and have the power and the platform from which to have direct influence at a national level. They have built a membership of nearly 3500 individuals and 350 organisations; have a permanent seat on the Ministerial Advisory Group for Mental Health; and advise the DH on policy and dissemination and are well positioned to influence decision makers.The need for a body to support the service user movement is clear and as a result, the needs of people with mental health problems in England are better represented. The grant is towards general running costs.
