The group will work with the most marginalised members of the local community in Blyth; helping them to play an active role in the delivery of services, activities and events and encouraging them to have greater involvement in the running of the community centre, delivering services together to ensure it meets the communities' wants and needs. Volunteers involved previously have moved into training, other volunteering roles and secured employment as a result of the skills and confidence gained.
