An existing Family Breakfast and Movement/Dance ....more A two-year project based in St Erme, central Cornwall, expanding provision for families in Cornwall with at least one member with Down’s Syndrome. An existing Family Breakfast and Movement/Dance session are expanded to offer more sessions and include specialised support for families with a dual diagnosis. In addition, new sessions which provide workshops on Makaton, social skills and tools, and communication. By meeting more regularly, sessions give families a chance to improve their social links. The group is led by family members and all participants have the opportunity to feed into group development.
