THE OBJECT OF THE CHARITY IS TO PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE, ASSISTANCE AND REPRESENTATION TO PERSONS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES WHO BY REASON OF THEIR INADEQUATE MEANS ARE UNABLE TO OBTAIN SUCH ADVICE AND REPRESENTATION FROM THEIR OWN RESOURCES AND WHO, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, HAVE AT ANY STAGE RAISEDARGUMENTS UNDER THE 1951 UNITED NATIONS REFUGEE CONVENTION OR THE EUROPEAN CONVENTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS OR THE HUMAN RIGHTS ACT 1998 TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT OR THE ASYLUM AND IMMIGRATION TRIBUNAL OR IN ANY OTHER LEGAL PROCEEDINGS.
