The sessions will ....more This group will use the funding to work with 500 children from local schools to begin to develop their knowledge and awareness of how they can impact the future of climate action. The sessions will be held at Dangerpoint and will make use of the interactive and immersive scenarios to deliver a series of 3.5-hour climate themed “discover and do” workshops. The project will utilise the striking film-set like zones within Dangerpoint (home transport beach shop etc...) to engage the children in a dialogue around the climate crisis linking in to the zones' theme e.g. in the beach zone they'll focus on actions that can be taken to reduce impact on biodiversity rising water temperatures plastic waste in the oceans etc. Participants will go on to create a group and individual action plan that will include the steps that they can take to support long term change in behaviours that will have a positive impact on the climate crisis.Dangerpoint Ltd will use £9606 to deliver interactive and immersive workshops to 500 children from local schools. The workshops will develop the children’s knowledge and awareness of climate action and how they can take action.
