DAYLIGHT CENTRE FELLOWSHIP

Many people in our society are vulnerable & grapple with complex needs. Many agencies exist to meet those needs but gaps exist in the provision. Our unique role is to fill some gaps especially gaps in time & space. Time to talk & be listened to; time to help unravel complex problems & identify practical steps towards solutions.Space that welcomes, is comfortable, un-pressurized & non-judgmental.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • There have been no material income shortfalls in recent years
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of age and gender and dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Over half the Board have joined recently

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Income has been volatile recently but spending has been maintained
