The funding will be used to deliver creative processes to explore the journeys that refugees and asylum seekers have made to get to this country and their future journeys. Initially delivered in three venues that are places where refugee and asylum seekers are placed when they first arrive in Bradford. The project will deliver a mentoring programme to support new communities to familiarise themselves with local support systems and infrastructure and support them with issues which are relevant to them including poor housing financial difficulties and language barriers.
