Cornwall has seen an increase in rates of reported domestic and sexual violence. There are services in place to provide crisis intervention to women who need immediate support; however there is little provision for follow-up support for those who want to bring lasting change to their lives.Women’s Rape and Sexual Abuse Cornwall Centre (WRSAC) has a strong track record in providing services to women affected by sexual and/or domestic violence and with this grant will employ two Project Workers to deliver structured group work programmes; “Pattern Changing” and “POWER”. These programmes will empower the women to break the cycle of abuse and make positive, safe and healthy changes to their lives.

The Outreach Service is provided in a wide range of accessible venues.
