The funding will enable young people to access the in-house counselling service to address mental health needs while a Project Worker / volunteer mentor will provide mentoring sessions linked with programme of after school activities to improve self-esteem address trauma develop and utilise coping skills and increase resilience.

Addressing the behaviour of male perpetrators is central to reducing abuse. The project will use a tried and tested model to work with men to change their behaviour and support those who experience abuse. It will do this through a structured programme based on one-to-one support and group support for individuals and families. The project aims to significantly reduce further abuse, making women and children safer, happier and healthier.
