There will be a class for women and one for men introducing them to a range of exercises ranging from Zumba and line dancing to Pilates and circuit classes, in addition to guided walks, cycling and walking football. The separate classes will enable the programmes to be tailored to the participants and cater for the needs of BAME communities. The programme will run for a year in three blocks of 10 weekly sessions offering participants a variety of classes, with plans to then transition participants to other community classes that they may be interested in.
