Objectives

The charity’s objects (‘Objects’) are specifically restricted to the following:(a) to provide financial and other assistance for the education and advancement of disadvantaged young people, with a focus on girls and women in sub-Saharan Africa;(b) to enable young people to transition from school into independent adulthood and take on positions of leadership in their communities, with a focus on girls and women in sub-Saharan Africa;(c) to conduct research and to advance the education of the public in subjects relating to:(i) the lives of girls and women and how these are affected by education and the lack of education; and(ii) the opportunity for young people to successfully transition from education into independent adulthood and leadership.Nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the charity for purposes, which are not charitable in accordance with section 2 of the Charities Act 2011.
