The funding will be used to scale up support for vulnerable people who are self-isolating through a matching volunteer/social prescribing system to help with groceries collecting prescriptions and providing advice and social contact by telephone to improve wellbeing and provide basic essentials for independent living during the Covid-19 period. The project will also take referrals from Bristol City council the NHS and the CCG around support from home hospital patients to ensure people that are high risk are receiving help.

The project will take place in local cafes and will offer a safe and welcoming environment for over 55's to socialise and learn basic technology skills. The project aims to help reduce isolation by bringing people together to learn new skills.
